Three runners qualify for state in cross-country
Senior Joel Roberts, junior Anna Kuns, and freshman Gabriela Reyna qualified for state on Saturday at the regional cross-country meet at the Cessna Activity Center. Twenty members of the team ran at regionals.
Reyna finished fourth in the girls race with a 4k time of 15:30. Kuns finished eighteenth with a time of 17:09.
Roberts finished sixth in the boys race with a 5k time of 17:02.
The three qualifiers will run at Rim Rock Farm near Lawrence on Nov. 2.
