There are a lot of sites and apps people can stream music on. Some cost and others are free.
Spotify is a music streaming service with over 180 million active users, over 4 million songs and over 2 million artists. Spotify is free, but you can pay for Spotify Premium monthly. Spotify Premium includes ad-free music, on-demand playback, unlimited skips, and allows you to listen anywhere, even offline. For one account it’s $9.99 a month, for two accounts it’s $12.99 a month, for up to six accounts it’s $14.99 a month, and for students it’s $4.99 a month. There are extra add on for people who pay for the family plan which is Spotify kids, blocking explicit music, and family mix playlist.
YouTube is another free music streaming app, but you can pay extra for premium. YouTube Premium is $9.99 a month after a one month free trial. YouTube Premium includes no ads and allows you to listen without Wi-Fi.
Apple music is a streaming app for Apple products. Apple music has over 70 million songs and over 56 million users. Apple music lets you stream ad free music anywhere. Apple music is not free, but there are different monthly plans. For students, Apple music cost $4.99 a month, an individual plan is $9.99 a month after your 3 month free trial, and a family plan is $15 a month.
Soundcloud is a free music streaming app with over 76 million monthly users, over 200 million tracks, and over 20 million creators who share their music. Soundcloud offers two Soundcloud Pro plans. They offer a monthly and a yearly plan. SoundCloud Pro cost $6 a month or $55 yearly.
Spotify seems like the best streaming service out of these. Spotify is really good with having different genres and songs. Spotify Premium also makes the service better.
