- On January 16th, the impeachment process for Donald J. Trump began.
- On January 20th, the SARS-Cov-2 known as Covid-19 was announced in the United States.
- On January 26th, seven people died in a tragic helicopter crash. Among the perished, was famous basketball player Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna.
- On February 8th, the first american citizen passed away due to the Corona virus in Wuhan.
- On February 24th, Harvey Weinstein was convicted of sexual assault and rape by his TV production assistant.
- On March 6th, Two suicide bombers blew themselves up near the U.S Embassy in Tusunia. The incident resulted in the death of a police officer and 4 others having injuries.
- On March 9th, because of the sudden Covid-19 outbreak, several countries went into lock down, causing the Dow Jones industrial to have its worst single-drop day ever.
- On March 24th, the 2020 Tokyo Olympics were postponed until 2021.
- On April 2nd, Global corona virus cases surpassed one million people.
