When it comes to school lunches, everyone has their favorite, whether it is the cheesy goodness of pizza, or the cold peanut butter and jelly sandwiches waiting to get picked. With schools Putting more effort  into offering delicious foods, lunchtime has become the highlight of the  school day, sparking the debate and question: what really is the best  school lunch food? 

Some students are undecided on what is the best school lunch  food but for student Michael Patterson (12) the best school lunch food is the Chicken nuggets and mashed potatoes.

“I love dipping  my chicken nuggets in the mash potatoes and gravy,” Patterson said.

As good as the chicken nuggets may be to him, another fan favorite is the cheesy pizza. Pizza day at the school is always a hit with lines to the cafeteria all the  way in the hallway.

“The pizza here is one my favorite things I just wish it weren’t whole grain,” Amari Hicks (12) said,
