What your favorite spooky movie? That is the question we asked students around Northwest high school to get your best picks.
But first what kind of spooky movies are there? There are different kinds of spooky movies some genres including thriller, suspense, action/gore all the way to comedy horror movies. So, which one is your favorite?
“My favorite movie is probably ‘IT two.’ I just really like how goofy the movie is overall,” Gavin Crandell (12) said. “But my favorite scene would have to be the part with three doors its very unexpected I strongly recommend. It felt like I was watching a comedy at times.”
Stop motion is a way of video making where each frame is made with physical props. It is a more tedious method, but it gives a setting a unique feel. One the most popular stop motion spooky movies is “Coraline.”
“My favorite movie for spooky season is ‘Coraline.’ It is fascinating how much effort they put into making it,” Liliana Vazquez (12) said. “My favorite part was when she realized she liked her other life more then the life with her fake mother and she tries to escape.”
