Lori Wallentine’s 6th hour government class spent the period flying kites with special education students on Tuesday, April 26th. The activity is an annual tradition which was started about five years ago by Wallentine, who originally had the idea to get her seniors more involved with other students.
“I duck into [the special education] classrooms to visit a lot, and I just thought it would be fun for everyone,” Wallentine said.
